The Agony Scene

For five years, our company had been saving up to buy some new servers that would be bigger and better than the ones we currently had. In fact the new ones would be double in size to the current ones and our office would be able to accommodate at least twenty more associates.

I knew exactly how much money was in the account, so when I came across the used poweredge servers company on the web, I got excited thinking that we may be able to have our new servers even sooner than any of us had ever thought.

I printed out all the necessary information that was needed to share with the office and made copies for everyone. I gave them to them all during our weekly meeting the next morning and they were all on board with buying used servers that had been refurbished that we could afford to buy today. The task of hiring the twenty new associates was next on our list, and hopefully it would not take us five years to complete that.

My only request from the new owners was that I include the used hp servers with the building when I moved all of my furniture out. I had not paid that much for the used proliant servers five years ago, so I had no trouble leaving them behind. I knew that it would be easier for them to just move in and be able to just hook up to existing servers and open shop.

I however was now going to have to locate some good used hp servers to be installed into my new building. I had about two months to find them though since the construction team was about that far behind. I could not remember the name of the site, but knew that they were based out of somewhere up north and put that into the search engine to narrow down the results. I found them in less than three minutes and they still had the best prices around when it came to used proliant servers, so I purchased them and had them delivered to my house and I would just take them to the new office when it was completed.

My last cleaning supplies company that I called to send me a rush order, has apparently gone out of business. I called the same number that I have always called and a recording came on that said that the number had been disconnected or changed and any good company would not change their number and not notify their customers.

I had been burned by these kinds of small companies too many times. It always seems that when I need janitorial products right away, they have closed, shut down or taken the day off. I was not going to deal with it anymore and I was going to have to find a good company that had been around for a while, even if it meant paying a little more for each order.

The few janitorial products sites that I found looked very promising and the prices were actually lower than what I was expecting them to be. I guess that it was going to be easier and cheaper to use an online established cleaning supplies company. I placed my first order and put a rush on it, I needed to make sure that they got the right products to me on time before I placed my normal big order for the month.

My next door neighbor invited me to jump on board with the new discount office furniture store he is opening. It will be part of a company that is already well established and they will provide the work plan that is to be followed. They just need to place many different warehouses all over the country to keep up with their competitors.

The competition that they have, are many other discount office supplies warehouses that have already dove into the office furniture business as well. They can offer faster shipping than the company my neighbor is getting involved with since they have more strategically placed warehouses. I think this is a great idea, but how many other companies are going to try and do the same thing, causing a flood of providers to the market and then they will have to offer rock bottom prices to get the business.

I am going to have to see the business plan behind this discount office furniture thing and really study it before I make any big decisions. I would love to invest in something that will make me some good money in the future, but I am just not sure if discount office supplies are the right fit for me.

I was glad to have a friend in the business of making you look good, even though you were not. I have only been in a situation one time where I needed help making myself look better than what all the news people were talking about. I had gotten myself arrested for something stupid and it seemed that every news network was reporting it as their top story.

I got a call from my friend who works for ReputationManagers.com and she told me that I needed to hire her company to start making people forget the bad press that I was getting. She assured me that if I did, people would move onto the next victim of circumstance sooner if they thought that I was turning the negative into a positive.

When the Raleigh bathroom remodeling company called to let us know that they would not be able to start the job on time, they told us that the tub we had picked out was on back order and had still not been delivered. I was a little upset, but knew that we really wanted that model of tub for our master bathroom. I had read so many great reviews about it and knew that it was the one for us.

I was glad to hear the overseas property news report last month, since I had just purchased a new Portugal property as an investment. I put my real estate agent on it and told him to find me a great deal to invest in. He came back two days later with a list of many that would be good investments for me.

I started by checking out the list from France and found that the French market had peaked last year and it would take a while before any of the real estate in that country started to be worth anything. The Portugal property caught my eye, because the prices were very affordable. I did some research and found that this market is on the rise and by getting in now; you would essentially be getting in on the ground floor.

The real estate market for Portugal was expected to rise for at least the next ten years. I was planning on hanging onto it for at least five to seven years so it sounded like I had the chance to make a good profit on it in the future.
