A week ago, my dad installed a custom retractable screen for our door. The reason behind it is because he wants to surprise my mom, after she gets back from visiting her parents. He spent a few days, driving around town in search of the best retractable door screens for our door. At last after two days of searching, he finally found the one that he was looking for and immediately installed it, when he got back home.

Unfortunately, my mom didn’t give him the reaction that he was looking for because she was “expecting it”. It seems that the two of them discussed about having a retractable door screen before she left for her parent’s house. Still, she praised my dad for taking the initiative and the three of us went out for dinner that day. I asked about how my grandparent’s were doing and she said that they were still quite active even at their age. My grandma spoils me a lot and I miss her terribly. Maybe I can persuade my parents to let me visit them for a few days, after my exams are over.
