The Agony Scene

Our passion for ballroom dancing started a year ago when I and my husband took wedding dance lessons in a dance studio in Raleigh.  We wanted our wedding dance to be our way of saying thank you to our family and guests who have been there for us all along.  And of course, we wanted a unique reception, so we wanted them to see us glide in waltz like professional dancers. To date back, I met my husband on a prom dance, that’s why also we love the idea of dancing. True enough, they were all amazed by our waltz number.

After the wedding, I told my husband on continuing to have classes at least once a week.  In that way, we can bond as a couple with an activity that we both love.  So we still took our ballroom classes in the dance school Cary North Carolina. I am already married for 8 years but I can’t feel any sign of happiness. My parents just asked me to marry a man whom I do not love in the first place. Like a fairy tale, our marriage are just an agreement of our parents.

I thought that I will eventually learn to love him, unfortunately, I haven’t. I loved someone else. I know that my husband is aware of that fact so we agreed to have a divorce.
