Malignant Mesothelioma

The malignant mesothelioma is associated with asbestos history that has an exposure to about seventy to eighty percent in all such cases and unfortunately there isn’t any approved or one can say an effective chemotherapy for the mesothelioma disease. The doctors and researchers have hypothesized that pemetrexed can be effective in the mesothelioma diagnosis because it actually have a target on the key enzymes or in other words the molecules that increase the speed of chemical reactions in the patient’s body. They play an important role in the rapid and successful growth of this kind of tumor.
The experiment on the disease clearly shows that these asbestos act as carcinogen which result in the development of mesothelioma cancer that occurs at the different stages of initiation or promotion. The symptoms of this kind of disease are actually very difficult to detect because they have common nature as any other normal disease symptoms.
Their diagnosis initially starts by a normal review of the patient’s medical history who is suffering from this disease of mesothelioma. It becomes quite clear if the patient’s medical history gives the evidence of the person exposure to the particles of asbestos. These particles that have an exposure to asbestos actually increase the suspicion that the person is suffering from the disease of mesothelioma.
Then it has become the need of such a case to go for a physical examination so to have a complete detection of the same. This examination includes the X-ray of the patient’s chest and lungs.
