My officemates from the IT department has been drooling over IBM pSeries Servers.  They have been eyeing it to replace the old ones we have here in the office.  The only concern is the cost because the management has decided to postpone the planned upgrades that will enable them to go on a shopping spree. 

However, the upgrades have become necessary because of the many complaints that they have been getting about computers that are either too slow or has bogged down altogether.  They made a recommendation that an upgrade should be prioritized or else all the work processes will be badly affected. 

The management saw the predicament and asked for suggestions from the team.  One of the guys suggested that we check out used IBM servers for the upgrades.  There are many refurbished servers available online and there are stores that specialize in these things. The management was hesitant at first because they questioned the reliability of these machines however the guys were able to assure them that it is just as good as a brand new one. The items were delivered the other day and the guys are too eager to have them installed right away.
