I ordered a used dell from a local computer company and paid a lot of money for it. When it had problems about four months later, the company that I had bought it from was no longer there. I had to go to a different computer store and leave it with them to diagnose the problem.

When they called me the next day to tell me what it would cost to fix my computer, they told me that when they opened it up, it was not really a used dell at all. It was a different brand, and someone must have put a dell sticker on it. When I told them where I had gotten it, they told me that they had been servicing used poweredge servers that were also bought at that store and they were also not as the people thought.

It ended up costing me about as much as I paid for the computer, to get it fixed. I was not happy and asked the people who fixed it to give me the names of some of the people who had been taken by buying used poweredge servers from the crooked store.

I figured that if we ever found them, we would have one heck of a lawsuit on our hands. We had all kept our receipts for the used dell equipment that was not dell at all.
